  • Application

  • Profile review

    Our HR team, in collaboration with managers, carefully reviews every application.

  • Phone interview

    A brief but essential initial phone interview helps us get to know you better.

  • Interview(s)

    Depending on the position: one or two interviews with HR, the manager, and sometimes the superior.

  • Decision and feedback

    Whatever the outcome, we provide you with feedback. If it’s a yes: welcome! Otherwise, we will give you clear feedback.

Onboarding process

Because you’re one of us from day one.

  • Before your arrival

    You’ll receive a welcome booklet and all the documents you need to start your role. On our side, HR and the manager prepare everything to give you the best possible onboarding experience.

  • Day one

    Upon arrival, you are welcomed by the HR and HSE team. You’ll tour the premises, receive your equipment, get to know the company, and meet your colleagues. Your manager and your team will be ready to welcome you.

  • Your first week

    An onboarding schedule guides you through our departments and internal tools. You’ll be supported by designated colleagues throughout your onboarding.

  • Your first month

    Regular check-ins with your manager support your skill development and help you integrate into the team (through meetings, projects, and informal interactions etc.).

  • Completion of onboarding

    Two trial period reviews (mid-way and at the end) help us tailor your support and gather your feedback. You’ll also share your newcomer’s feedback from your first few weeks.

Professional development and secure career growth

Job opportunities are shared internally, and our Workforce and Career Path Management (GEPP) approach helps us map skills and build progressive career paths.

Training

We commit at least 2.75% of our payroll — that’s €200,000 in 2025 (compared to the legal minimum of 1%) — to our skills development plan, giving everyone the opportunity to grow their knowledge.

Manager support

Each manager receives targeted training and joins an active peer community to share insights, exchange ideas, and relay key information to their teams.

Bruno

I joined the company in 1997 as a temporary production operator and grew with the business: supporting the transfer and launch of the Amiens site in 2004, becoming a technician in the liquid and distillery workshops, and stepping into a leadership role in 2016. After a training and consulting assignment at the US subsidiary in 2018, I’m now Production Supervisor for the liquid and powder workshops at Metarom France.

Ornella

I completed my final-year internship in Quality Control, the department where I was later hired on a permanent contract. After 5 years in this position, I felt like a change. I had a strong interest in pastry, so Metarom offered me the chance to complete a one-year vocational diploma through a work-study program. Once I earned my diploma, I joined the Applications department — where I continue to thrive today.
